Samburu in July: The Samburu National reserve can be visited all year round but there are favorable months depending on your interests. There are two seasons in Samburu National reserve: The dry and wet season. They both come in two phases. The dry season runs from December to February and Mid June to September. The wet seasons run from October to November and March to mid June. The dry season runs from July to September and July is usually the first month.
Despite the fact that the month can be dry, it is also cold especially in the early mornings. There are no guarantees that there will be no rains during this month since it’s a dry season. It has however been noticed that it rains in the afternoons if it ever rains in the dry season and so this gives you chance to plan accordingly but this is also however not conclusive.
